Below are some of the most frequently asked questions that we get about Del Norte Gun Club membership. If you have a question that isn’t listed here, please feel free to call us.

New Members:

How do I join?

Click HERE to visit the main information page for new members. You’ll need to create an account to proceed, but the instructions are listed out in 5 steps which will take you through the process of becoming a member.

How long does a membership last?

Memberships must be renewed anually (with the exception of Lifetime Membership).

How much does a membership cost?

Depending on whether the membership is for an individual or a group, the price will vary. Individual memberships for those who are 18-64 cost $180.00 each year. For those age 65 and over, Senior memberships cost $120.00 each year.  All new members must take a basic orientation course to learn about the range, its policies and essential safety information. The orientation course is $100.00. The course must be taken again if a member has not been active for over 3 years and they must re-register as a new member.

What’s the difference between a “Junior Member” and an “Associate Member”?

Junior members are individuals affiliated with your account who are under 18. This designation includes individuals residing at the same residence as the main member.

Associate members are individuals affiliated with your account who are 18 or older. This designation includes individuals residing at the same residence as the main member.

Membership Renewal:

I am having trouble logging into my Account?

Your Username is your full email address.  If you have recently changed your email please try the old one to log in.  Use the Password reset if your password is not working.   If you are still unsucessfull use the “Contact us” to send us a message and we will assist you.  Please do NOT make a new account.  

When does my membership expire?

You can find your membership expiration date by logging into the DNGC website. Use the “My Account” link at the top of the page and then go to “Account Information” (which is listed on the left side of the page). The expiration date is shown at the top of the section titled “Additional Information”.

How do I renew my membership?

Please click on THIS LINK to visit the Membership Renewal page. Here, you will find information about making payments for registration, late fees, etc. Instructions are provided, but if you have any questions and need to speak with someone, please call 505-933-0775.

 

Why were the dues increased for 2016?

The Board of Directors voted to increase the dues in 2016 to assist in paying for new Capital improvement projects on the range which include: Completion of the 100m Pistol range, Improvements on the Archery range, Additional covers for the Rifle ranges and Improvements to the Target frame holders on all ranges. Some of these projects were started in 2015 but we were unable to gather enough volunteer help to complete them. The BOD had decided that some of these projects will be contracted out in order to have them complete in 2016.

Why are the Charter memberships ending?

The Board of Directors has voted to eliminate the Charter Membership class in 2017.  Charter members will still get the reduced rate for 2016 however; in 2017 All members will pay the same dues.  Charters who wish to convert their memberships in the 2016 year to a Lifetime membership at the Charter rate will be allowed to do so.  Send a request using the “contact us” form on the website and the Product will be placed into your shopping cart.

What if I lost my badge?

We’ll issue a new one to you for $15.00

What if I lost my keycard?

We’ll issue a replacement to you for $25.00

Guests & Visitors:

Can I bring a friends or relatives to the range?

Yes, but only two guests may shoot with you at a time using your “Guest Badge”.

How many friends or relatives can I bring?

As a member, you may bring guests and family however use of the firing ranges is limited to two family members or guests using your “Guest badges” .  They must be under member supervision at all times.

Can I add a friend or a relative to my membership?

Yes, but only if they reside in your household.  Friends or relatives not living in your home must perchase a separate membership.

How much does it cost to add a friend or relative to my membership?

The fee for adding an Associate Member to your account is $12.00/year.

The fee for adding a Junior Member to your membership is $0.00.

All new juniors / associate members must attend the DNGC orientation course. The price of the orientation course for newly added junior / associate members is $17.00.

How do I add another person to my membership?

If you’re already a member and you want to add a qualified (friend, relative or child) to your membership as an Associate or Junior Member, please log into the DNGC website and visit the “My Account” page to review your Account Information. Enter the name and date of birth information for the additional individual(s) on this page, and then click the “Save” button at the bottom. You will have to contact us by phone to complete the addition of associate members to your account. Newly added associate members will have to attend the orientation course.

Billing & Payments:

How do I make a payment? / Where do I send a check?

You can make payments for New Memberships and Membership Renewals online. You can also pay for event registration online. If you would rather pay in person for a membership or for an event at the range, please make arrangements to do so. You can also make payments over the phone by calling 505-933-0775.
