3D Archery

This is an inquiry to find interest in 3D archery events at DNGC.  We have a 3D walking course and 3D animals.  I am looking for input if members would like to have some 3D type events, formal and or just for fun shoots.  Please let me know of your interest, when would be a good time and if you are able to help setup.  This can be great fun for the experienced shooter, juniors and beginners.  Targets are set at 20 to 60 yards and the archers shoots one arrow from a marker based on their skill level.

Hunting Season

Archery season is approaching and I will schedule times when extra targets are put out.  This will include some speed bag targets for the high velocity arrows, some 3D animals and a 3D broadhead deer.  Remember you must bring your own broadhead targets and DO NOT SHOOT THE BALES WITH BROADHEADS.  First date: Sunday, July 9^th, 8:30 to 12:00 (2D target range)

Broadhead Lane – 20 to 60 yard stands

Known Distance – 10 to 100 yard target bales

2D Animals – Nine 2D animal targets 20 to 50 yards

3D walking course – up to 22 positions
